Why?

 Why things can’t go the simple way? There’s a day when you feel hassled-free and happy. Happy… not because the work is done, but because it went on smoothly without any disarray. But no… there are no free lunches in this world. There’s no easy way out for everyone… atleast not me and many of my friends.  Something or the other has to go wrong… but I guess it’s destined! I believe everything happens for a reason. Although I have never been able to identify the reasons for my hysteria.

A similar thing happened for one of our college projects. We shot for three consecutive days… the last three blissful days of the shoot! But then as I said not everything’s so easy… so while making the script for the documentary my friends realised that one of the cassette has betrayed us. It’s got corrupted! They cursed and caressed the cassette hoping that it would start functioning. Eleven in the night…eyes and lenses all popping out... but clemency laid nowhere. They tested out all the cassettes zillion times… but in vain.  The only thing now left were tears from the puffy sleepless eyes.

So then we decided to re-shoot everything. This time we shot the three days footage in one day… all over again! After completing the shoot and while going back home we abruptly stopped and decided to name and no. all the cassettes before any further confusion. Then guess what we see…. we see the footage that we thought was lost in one of the cassettes. All of us go bewildered. Then there were screams… squeals… blame game…amazements and amusements. 

Why did all this have to happen??? Wasting the whole day for something which was not even required. Any why did we have to get the lost footage back?? We were so contented re-shooting everything. Any why after shooting and not before?? And that too as soon as we finished shooting??? Why??

Today- So Different… So Special!!

I haven’t had an experience as beautiful as this.

I haven’t seen people as cheerful as them.

I haven’t discovered as much as I did today.

I haven’t used my hands as much as I did today.

I haven’t seen people as helpful as today

I haven’t understood things as better as I did today.

I haven’t been soundless as much as I was today.

I haven’t been as patient as I was today.

I haven’t felt at peace more than I did today.

I haven’t loved a day as much as I did today.

All thanks to our college project that we got this opportunity to spend a day with those people who cannot hear but have an excellent heeding capacity. The serene look on their faces will just make you bend down on your knees. Moreover one cannot help but simply fall in love with their language.  And why wouldn’t one… after all u can communicate through signs while swimming or even while writing exams.

Just another way to say I Need You    

How can you hate and love a person at a same time!! Half of your heart wants that fiend to dig his face somewhere in the ashes while the other half wants that friend to live with pride surrounded by all the happiness of the world! It’s at extreme levels, nowhere in the midst!

It’s not resentment or bitterness or anything like that ! It’s just the time of the hour! That time when you feel unaided and alone and don’t know what to do and your companion or your best friend cares the least! It’s not that he/she doesn’t love you or anything but it’s just that the moment you are lonely you tend to be selfish and want near and dear ones with you, for you!! And of course there is a world outside who just knows how to make an unpleasant situation even more dreadful! It’s so annoying and frustrating that you just want to bang your own head on the toughest wall possible!

It’s an irony that you cannot escape! The more you love somebody the more you become possessive and ultimately violent towards them. But it’s just another way to say I need you..I love you… I care for you…

Then you just regret and feel so stupid and laugh and howl at the same time…!! ;-)

That’s what love, friendship and relationships are all about!!

Last but not the least, Jaisalmer is the city were past is breathing but future is not lifeless!!
